Eric and I are looking for a house!

Last year we started looking for a home. We wanted to buy one here in Orem, but Eric's employers had other plans. Since they were planning on sending Eric up to run their new store in Heber, they wanted us to move up there and be a part of the community. We started house hunting in Heber and found a few homes that we liked and were very cute, we just didn't want to make any offers until we knew for sure whether or not the new store would be opening up for sure. We finally got word this past week that the store is on hold for now because of the economy. It could be postponed anywhere from a year to two years.

Since we have to be out of our apartment by the end of next month, we have decided to look for a home here in Orem instead of another apartment! It will be nice to have something to call our own, something we can decorate and make ours. Eric's kind of having second thought about having to take care of a yard, but I think that's one of the things I'm most excited about! I can't wait to plant flowerbeds, smell the freshly cut grass of our own yard, and hang up bird feeders around the yard!

Everyone keep your eyes open and peeled for us! We need help finding something and finding something soon seeing as we will technically be homeless at the end of April. We're looking for anything from Orem up to American Fork, and we're looking to keep our monthly payment below $1,000 dollars a month, so anything around the $150,000 mark. Let us know if you see anything in your neighborhood, on your way to work, or anyone one you know who is trying to sell their home!
